Photography for me is all about the moment, about the art. Those great moments that only last for a fleeting second. I think portraits should be natural not forced, such as asking for the smile. It's about capturing a person for who they are. Capturing the event for what it is. Every time I bring my camera, I'm looking to create a new authentic photo worthy of a being printed in large format and mounted on your wall for decades. Does not matter if it's a backyard barbecue with all your closest friends and family or a lonely field with nothing more than a reflector shielding the sun from your eyes. I want to create something that even months down the road you still want to stop, stare, and admire.
